Neuro2020 – Business meets Science

Neuro2020 postponed to December due to coronavirus situation

The Neuro2020 Business meets Science Industry and Innovation event, and the NeuroPitch research based pitching competition organised by Neurocenter Finland will be postponed to 8th of December due to the coronavirus situation. Originally, the event was scheduled for 31 March 2020 in Kuopio.

Neuro2020 has attracted a good number of registrations from all over Finland and from abroad. However, since many organisations are now understandably restricting the travel of their employees, the organisers feel that the nature and goal of the event, i.e. to bring people together and to forge new partnerships, is at risk.

All existing registrations will be transferred to the new date; however, it is also possible to cancel one’s participation by sending an email to the organisers. All participants will be contacted right after summer holidays!

We apologise for the inconvenience and  Hope to see you in December, when Business meets Science!

Coded to connect. For the first time, Neuro2020 Business Meets Science brings together various actors involved in neurosciences: companies, investors, research units, researchers, patient organisations and stakeholders at large. Keynote speakers include Esko Valtaoja, Miikka Korja and Kiti Müller. The event is moderated by Tomi Kaukinen, Licence to Fail.

This event is dedicated to inspiring stories of commercialization and cooperation successes. Science, startups and well established companies are in the spotlight.

Plenty of time has been reserved for networking and partnering up, and we shall celebrate the event by gathering around a dinner table.

Part of the Neuro2020 we are happy to organize NeuroPitch – sponsored by OLVI -foundation 65 years. Research based pitching competition for neuroresearchers focusing on aging. The winner receives 30 000 euros to advance the proposed research. Call for applications is available here.
