Neurocenter Finland’s mission is uniting researchers
The establishment of Neurocenter Finland has been assessed as part of the Health Sector Growth Strategy for Research and Innovation Activities and the Personalised Medicine project in an establishment project that was funded by Finnish ministries and coordinated by the University of Eastern Finland. Neurocenter Finland is established for the promoting national and international cooperation in neuroscience research, creating a better link between practical patient care and social and health sector innovations, and advancing innovations related to brain health. The objectives include better brain health and reduced cost of brain diseases in Finland, increased quality and impact of scientific research, and new innovations and their successful commercialisation. The Annual Event is meant to become part of Neurocenter Finland’s operations as an annually organised event.
