Fondazione Mariani: The Neurosciences and Music VIII

The Mariani Foundation and the Centre of Excellence in Music, Mind, Body and Brain (MMBB), University of Helsinki, announce the The Neurosciences and Music VIII conference to be held in Helsinki, Finland, from 13 to 16 June, 2024.

The focus of the congress will be Wiring, Re-wiring, and Well-being. This theme reflects the unique capacity of music to build connections, both between persons and within the brain, to facilitate the learning and re-learning of skills in the healthy and injured brain, and to foster development and well-being in daily life and in educational and rehabilitative settings.

The four-day scientific programme of the conference is of highest international level, featuring exciting presentations on the cutting-edge of music neuroscience research and its many applications in the fields of development, education, and rehabilitation. The programme includes a Keynote Lecture, 10 thematic Symposia, 3 Poster Sessions, 3 Best Poster Talk Sessions, and 3 Pre-Conference Workshops.

The Early bird registration is available until January 31 and the deadline for poster submissions is February 29.
