Neuroscience Center Seminar: Bridging the gap between BDNF and glucocorticoid effects on neuronal networks

Freddy Jeanneteau is Group Leader of Team AVENIR INSERM at the Institut de genomique fonctionnelle in Montpellier, France.  His lab investigates the physiological response to stress and associated disorders. In particular, he focuses on the mode of actions of hormones in animal models recapitulating human pathologies. For example, he studies the roles of oxytocin in Parder-Willy syndrome, glucocorticoids in depression and learning and memory, BDNF in glucocorticoid resistance syndrome, vasopressin and CRH in allostasis to stress.
