Dogu Baran Aydogan, PhD, is a postdoctoral scholar at the Department of Neuroscience and Biomedical Engineering, Aalto University. His expertise is in tissue microstructure characterization and structural connectivity of the brain using diffusion MRI images. His research focuses on connectivity analysis and development of novel fiber tracking techniques. He is currently developing real-time applications of tractography for transcranial magnetic stimulation. He was a winner of the Young Scientist Award in MICCAI 2016. He has also earned multiple awards in international competitions including the ISMRM 2017, ISBI 2018, and MICCAI 2019 tractography challenges.
